With extensive research supporting arts education as an imperative mental development step for youth, SAACA has strived to create free to engage. Each month, children can enjoy interactive performances through the two-part series Just for Kids and Musical Magic for Kids. The program exists through partnerships with the area’s most acclaimed arts organizations – Tucson Symphony Orchestra, Tucson Pops Orchestra, Civic Orchestra of Tucson, Music and Dance Academy and many others.

Delilah the Dancer's Grand Adventure

Follow Delilah on her journey through an enchanted forest.  Move, play and dance along with Delilah as she meets new magical friends, overcomes obstacles with just the right moves and finally  makes her way back home.  Dancer Kirsten Long, clarinetist Dominic Livigni and bassoonist Cassandra  Bendickson lead concert-goers on this thrilling adventure.

Traveling through Time with the Great Composers!

Oro Valley Music and Dance Academy
Take a trip through time with The Unusual Suspects Trio, while meeting some of the greatest composers, from Beethoven to Tchaikovsky to Duke Ellington!  No ordinary time machine, it is powered by classical and jazz music.  Listen and move to music of renowned composers, while hearing these composers "speak" about what it was really like to lives during their lifetimes.  The Unusual Suspects Trio consists of Deena Reedy, flute, Gregory Helseth, horn and Cassandra Bendickson, bassoon.
