Musical Gold in the Morning
A listening and learning program introducing K-5 students to the creative process through Classical Music played through school speaker system.
Advantages of “Musical Gold in the Morning”
Based upon repetitive listening, program requires minimal classroom teacher time. Principal or lead educator assigned may utilize predetermined plan or may chose to play cuts according to individual school’s geographic and demographic needs. Planning materials are by composer or by disc’s content and are easily accessible.
Cost
SAACA sought and received seed money from the Oro Valley Community Foundation for the pilot program and has since received funding from the Amphi Foundation for additional program development. Other sources will be explored relative to the number of Amphi School District Elementary Schools who plan to participate in 2008-2009 school year.
